Přednáška zahraničního odborníka Zolatana Kun 23. ledna: EU policies influencing the protection of old-growth forests

Zoltan Kun has over 25 years of experience in working with Protected areas, landscape planning and forestry. He is especially focused on protection of primary and old growth forests in Europe, one of the most threatened ecosystems in our region. The EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 defines the protection of primary and old-growth forests as a priority for the post 2020 biodiversity actions. This involves the definition and mapping of old-growth forests and discuss about management practices, which are influenced by other policies as well. This lecture will look into how the various policies might impact the target of protecting all remaining old-growth forests.
